I don't think we mentioned Serie A happenings yesterday. Milan got their needed win against Genoa. Pulisic subbed in on the 76th minute. I believe he got the assist on the game winner. Right?

Juventus with a disastrous loss AT HOME to Fiorentina. McKennie went 90. DISASTER
Locatelli reveals ‘reality’ behind ‘ugly’ Juventus defeat - Yahoo Sports
Video: Juventus ultras protest as Champions League spot slips away - Yahoo Sports

We'd been talking about how Milan was in Champions League trouble for weeks, but its Juve and McKennie that are now in trouble. That's because Como and Roma both won.

The last two Champions League spots go down to the wire.
Napoli qualifies for Champions League, four teams fighting for other 2 places | AP News

    Milan 70
    Roma 70
    Como 68
    Juventus 68

For Milan and Pulisic, they're in if they beat Caligliari. A draw may get it done too.

Mckennie and pals are in big trouble...........................

Oof. Aaronson is currently down for Leeds. Eeeeek.
    They're switching him out.

This looks minor, but at this point in the cycle nothing is minor. He was massaging the side of his knee a little bit.

He's looking alright as he's walking off slowly. Let's see..................

It was his knee. So not good. Hope it’s nothing.

He walked off but was a little ginger. Unclear.

Richards deciding to terrify us all by grabbing his ankle in pain. Looks like he's fine though

Um, you missed the video of him leaving the pitch markedly limping and needing support.

If we lose him in back to back world cups, ffs, and just before the freaking tournament both times? Hopefully he's fine.

no doubt, and for juventus it’s even worse than it looks. Roma closes out to Hellas Verona and como closes out to Cremonese. I’d say Juve are resigned to Europa at best case scenario

also, pepi scored again I think we might have missed that

McKennie looked to score for Juve but was whistled for a foul. Obviously I'm a biased American but it looked like a dive to me.

McKennie(CAM in 4231) and Juve lose 2-0 to Fiorentina to put their UCL ambitions in doubt. More importantly, McKennie had good numbers.

Musah(LWB in 343) got a sub's runout in Atalanta's 1-0 loss to Bologna. Wingback or fullback are the positions for him, if he wants to stay in Top-5.

So I know it’s not much of a thing anymore as much as it used to be…….. but cup performance alone……..who could make the most of a rock solid cup showing this offseason?

id say initially Tyler adams but homie could legit be playing champions league soccer anyway next season.

pepi? Personally think any move would be down to club form if over cup form unless he busts out 3 or more. If he busts out? Tottenham (who are STILL going down idgaf I believe) could think of him as part of a rebuild.

Reyna? Another case if injury history taking precedence of any form except maybe being a big part of a semifinal run

Dest…….. Dest is a guy I could see making bank. I’ve talked about “go to betis young man” before…..this is the guy I want that for. But there could be other options too, including Munich

Check out the spine on the EFL! Morris and Middlesbrough in the playoff final, Spyhampton kicked out and docked 4 points next season

apparently evidence of Spyhampton spying against Ipswich snd Oxford too

Adams has a big game today. A win or a draw for Bournemouth, and Arsenal is the 2025-26 EPL Champion.

Bournemouth need back to back wins to qualify for the UCL ahead of Liverpool (who play Brentford at home on Sunday, AFCB play Forest away).

I wish the NFL had done that with the Patriots or the NCAA with Michigan.

    Bravo!

    Appeal pending, though.

Aidan Morris might be in the Prem after all

Southampton have been thrown out of the play-offs after admitting they spied on three clubs in the Championship season.

Middlesbrough, beaten by Southampton in the semi-final, have been reinstated and will now play Hull City for a place in the Premier League.

I believe 1.65 points per game would bode well for the US at the WC.

Bournemouth making Europe for the first time in their history might mean they won't be looking to sell Adams this summer.

They still have an outside shot at Champions League. Really outside, but outside nonetheless. They need liverpool to lose BADLY to Brentford.........and then they need to beat Forest BADLY.

Basically, they need to overcome 3 points and overcome GD.

Could Bournemouth beat a Forest team with nothing to play for 4-0? Could Liverpool, with all the drama there, get beated 3-0 by a Brentford team fighting for Europe? I guess so. Its all a bit far-fetched.

Bournemouth is really interesting. It'll be fascinating to see who comes in to coach there next year. Iraola has been a godsend.

    This is wrong.

Bournemouth in games Tyler Adams played: 9W 10D 5L. 37 points in 24 games (1.54 ppm)

Bournemouth in games Tyler Adams did not play: 4W 7D 2L. 19 points in 13 games (1.46 ppm)

    Breaking it down further.

Bournemouth in games Tyler Adams started: 6W 9D 5L. 27 points in 20 games (1.35 ppm)

Bournemouth in games Tyler Adams did not start: 7W 8D 2L. 29 points in 17 games (1.71 ppm)
