He's been good in the past 2 windows. I have him in the top 4 CM, along with Adams, Johnny, and Tessmann.

I think they would have stayed up if he'd stayed fit.

Probably. But they’d still be slagging him today. It’s what they do.

I think he'd have stayed fit if he wasn't coming back from an injury. He seems to be one of those guys that needs to play to keep weight off. Most times he's out it takes him a bit of time to get fit and lose the weight. Maybe over time he's learning how to eat better when not playing.

    Kelman scores
Dike robs a defender but his shot on the turn is saved. Baggies break out their "Hey Daryl Dike ooh aah" chant.

I forgot to add George Campbell started for WBA. 7 hours now since and the West Brom defense conceded a goal.

Also....................Antonee not in the starting XI for Fulham this morning.

I continue to be convinced that Antonee isn't quite right. He's trying really hard to be available for the World Cup, but he's not fully there.

Lots of chances in this game, but so far no goals. Fulham have had a fairly nondescript second half of the season. Silva hasn't signed a new contract.

Fulham just scored as I was typing that. Sessagnon. The guy replacing Robinson, right?

THey just signed him to a new contract.
Ryan Sessegnon signs new Fulham contract as left-back commits future - Yahoo Sports

If we make a list of Yanks likely to move in the summer window after the World Cup, Antonee has to be high on that list.

He did not sign a new contract, Fulham simply triggered the option in his current contract to extend through next season.

How do you figure? I don't foresee a ton of interest in him given his struggles so far this season.

Villa and Man United the favorites according to the gutter press.

I think managers and sporting directors are looking across more than one injury stained season. In fact they're probably more likely to bid as they think they can get him for less.

The "gutter press" recycling old stories. And Antonee going to a bigger club was always a bit of a stretch given some of the weaknesses in his game, I really don't see it happening now heading into his age 29 season with his struggles coming back from the surgery.

Well, now they've run Sessagnon into the ground.

My comment was the kiss of death.

He suffered a hamstring injury (at least that's what it looked like) in the 2nd half and Robinson is on. So maybe he's going to have a run here to get back in form.

Fulham won that game 1-0. They're not out of contention for European soccer. That win took them level on points with Brentford and Chelsea. Only 1 point back of Tyler Adams and Bournemouth for the "Best Yank Finish" in the Premier League. They're kind of just lurking..................

Morning is the time for corn flakes, and apparently also the time for you to piss on them.

Given the context of Clint’s comment, coming immediately after he wrote about a guy who plays the same position being extended, it’s pretty obvious what he “figured.”

But, you saw a bowl of dry corn flakes and had to do your thing.

Well Fulham's current squad is rapidly aging closing to 30 and above years old. They need to start refreshing the team with younger talent again. Antonee is one of their better players, and would likely fetch a decent transfer fee.

While I generally agree that Fulham will be looking to refresh the squad over the next few seasons 1) Antonee certainly hasn't been one of their better players this season and 2) I'm skeptical a 29 year old Antonee coming off the surgery and struggles this season would fetch a decent transfer fee this summer. It's certainly possible he moves this summer, but I certainly wouldn't call it "likely" as the poster I was responding to did.

Sure. He was one of their best players last year. Probably should have sold him last summer if offers had come in. This year he's had a difficult time returning from his injury. Just hasn't been the same player. They may move on from him, but won't get the transfer fee that they would have last year.

I think Marco Silva has done a masterful job with this squad. Next game against Arsenal will be really interesting, because Fulham do have the ability to take points in that game.

Gio Reyna is on for Gladbach in the 2nd half of a scoreless draw against Wolfsburg!!
    Scally started.

A point will do here for Gladbach. Keeping putting distance between them and the relegation spots. St. Pauli is losing...........................

Tillman didn't start for Leverkusen, but he's on in the 2nd half. They're beating Cologne 2-1 late.

Noahkai Banks not involved for Augsburg. He now hasn't been involved in their last four games.

Gio Reyna and Kevin Paredes both subbed into the match. Not too many minutes played by those two this season.

Watching this Spurs-Wolves match is difficult. Now Xavi Simons with what looks like a bad knee injury. World Cup might be out for him. :( [West Ham winning against Everton.] Solanke already came off injured.

But anyway, Lennard Maloney also came on in the 2nd half for Mainz as they're in a shootout with Bayern. 4-3 late.

We might have another Yank off late this afternoon. Let's see if Damion Downs and Cole Campbell are in the squads for Hamburg versus Hoffenheim.

If Noahkai Banks hadn't taken himself out of consideration for the World Cup, we'd be talking about his lack of action right now.

Venezia kicking off now against Empoli, and they got absolutely no help from Monza and Frosinone who both won. Venezia need to get a win here to keep ahead.
