That's how I feel too. I think I'm most comfortable with McKenzie now, given his recent play with the USMNT and his step up in club level, but I wouldn't have said that 6 months ago.

CCV has looked bad recently for the USMNT, and I'd like to be able to write him off, but no one other than McKenzie has really improved their stock recently either.

High volume of chances but low average chance quality. 65th overall in the CL in

Trusty has majorly improved his stock recently. Better than CCV in the UCL partnership, w/out the bad USMNT performances. So he's objectively ahead.

Then Richards is back and played at level for club & country CCV's never achieved.

Zimmerman has been superior for the nat'l team. Miles, even in losing a step, has performed better.

Ream's still performing much better than CCV ever has.

Time's not going to improve Ream, but CCV's not going to get taller or quicker. And it's outlandish he becomes some savant with the ball. He just kicked one in his own net. RBL were schooling him in the air. We shouldn't keep getting lured into this. He should be so back of mind right now.

^ That's pretty much how I see things... anyone who thinks CCV is relevant should be clamoring for Poch to go talk to Anrie Chase lol

Robinson remains both the best and most important on the national team other than Pulisic.

I'm actually 50-50 on whether he should move up or just stay in a great spot with Fulham for years.

Pool haven’t lost a match in three months, and Jedi walks out of Anfield as the best player on the pitch. Remarkable player, we are lucky to have him as one of our own.

Jedi will be able to double his money at a big club.
CCV is also doing well in UCL. It's not all about Scotland. I'm not advocating for a callup.
Dumb point, as it was good enough in the other UCL matches.

Love to see it. And chance quality is generally going to be lower for CMs, thus no worries there.

You make authoritative claims off small samples of games most of which you haven't watched. He kicked the ball in his own net in one game & another he couldn't defend Orban on corners. He has not done well in UCL this year, let alone in the past. That isn't overridden by one game against Zagreb, who put up little resistance, & in which he was out-played by his American CB mate, who actually has played well, but isn't a proven player at this level even either.

CCV's actually a proven liability against teams capable of making the UCL KO's & for the USMNT. Let's not keep revising history.

You could have pointed out that CCV didn't play against Dortmund but just take a cheap shot.

CCV has the turning circle of The Titanic and has looked awful for the NT.

I'm a big fan of Antoinee and Fulham. But in all fairness, it should be mentioned that Liverpool was playing with 10 men. Why wasn't this mentioned?

It’d have to be the right move but would be nice to see him at a club where he’d get opportunities to play in European competition.

In terms of positioning, Wes played high up like a 2nd forward to start the match then dropped to a CM's positioning. He did a good job of getting on the ball. The speed at which he sees the field to quickly make switches is impressive. He has a flair for the spectacular goal but doesn't evince the skillset needed to regularly play high up the field.

Busio is wasted in that wing-forward role. He doesn't have the g/a production in him.
