Yeah, I am debating whether to cancel my ESPN+ subscription at this point. A few years ago, I was watching multiple Bundesliga games every weekend on it to catch our guys, but I haven't watched any Bundesliga this season. I guess Scally still plays regularly for Gladbach, but I can't get motivated to watch those games.

ESPN better hope Campbell gets some minutes soon if they want to keep my $10/month coming in.

Paredes is spindly and gets fouled a lot, I fear he’ll have injury issues throughout his career.

Strong numbers for Brenden(cam in 4231) at Bellingham and league-leading Sunderland. Too bad
Leeds gave up the tying goal at 97'. With Reyna on the shelf, and Acosta yet to receive his papers, Brenden should have a clear shot at starting amid this window.

Now that is the classic Meslier experience I remember from watching Leeds United in the Premier League.

Unpopular opinion: Tessmann agrees to year long loan return its better for both the club AND him, and I firmly believe he is on the roster if he does that.

"year long loan return" - what do you mean by that? Lyon loans him to Venezia? Venezia doesn't have the same manager as before so we don't know if he wants him unless maybe you read something somewhere.

It's not luck. That's why they do it. I sub for MMA & formerly footy.

They'd have incentive to acquire Ligue 1 rights now. It'd fill a gap w/ their American acquisitions.

I subscribed to ESPN+ at the start of the 2020-21 season. At that time, my subscription allowed me to watch all of the following players, who were starting fairly regularly in leagues they aired: McKennie (Juventus - 18 Serie A starts), Dest (Barcelona - 23 La Liga starts), Musah (Valencia - 17 La Liga starts), Adams (RB Leipzig - 21 Bundesliga starts), Reyna (Dortmund - 21 Bundesliga starts), Brooks (Wolfsburg - 31 Bundesliga starts), Sargent (Werder Bremen - 30 Bundesliga starts). That was arguably 7 starters from a hypothetical USMNT Best XI from that period, all receiving very respectable playing time at their clubs. (And that's not to mention younger prospects like Richards and Hoppe that worked their way into the rotation of Bundesliga clubs at the time.)

I cancelled my subscription a year ago. For one thing, I think there may only be one USMNT player in my own best XI that plays regularly on ESPN+, and that's Dest who is out for the calendar year with an injury.

Obviously, ESPN+ lost the rights to Serie A, so the handful of Americans in that league right now doesn't help them at all. In addition, almost everyone in the list above from La Liga or the Bundesliga left those leagues (including Dest, Musah, Adams, Sargent, Richards, etc.), and the only guy remaining is Gio Reyna, who is never healthy and barely plays when he is. Since I mentioned Dest, I guess I'll acknowledge that they do show PSV games, but I'm fine catching them in the Champions League on Paramount rather than suffering through the average Eredivisie match.

Part of the reason I’ve stayed subscribed is I like Bill Connolly’s work but ESPN+ seems like the one I’m most likely to cancel.

    Another goal for Balogun

1842648775619432648 is not a valid tweet id

I hadn’t realized this but he’s apparently averaging about one xG per 90 minutes but half that in terms of goals per 90 minutes.
