Brooks goes 90 on the left in a back 3 and Hoffenheim gets the win over Dortmund. Hoffenheim is solidly mid-table in 8th.

It is odd to me that there has been no reconciliation between Brooks and GGG.

Man, cowell is playing the same way he always has just cleaner. I think he wasted a couple of season in Sanjose after his first year. But he's young.

Everytime I see Yow or Reynolds at a Westerlo home game in their mecca of a stadium I laugh because it looks like a rundown 3rd world carribean stadium, on the 2 sides of the stadium from end line to end line it has 7 rows each....

Good goal by Tillman but I still think his overall game highlighted by his poor play vs Slovenia in Jan put's him way down in the pecking order for
me. For me when healthy...1-Adams 2-Cardoso (possibly 1a) 3-Musah/McKennie 4-A. Morris 5-L.Maloney 6-T.Tillman 7-Vargas (soon to pass Tillman 6-7 yrs younger) 8-Parks (I'd still like to see him given 1 more chance as a US DM) 9-Sands

You can't have those guys ahead of Tillman and keep a lockerrooms respect.

Maloney had a pretty solid game against Union and Brendo (who had a shot deflect in off his back for a goal).

I judge talent on the field....I don't think about men's sports locker rooms much...to each his own.

Judge them however you want, but putting guys like Morris and Parks ahead of Tillman doesn’t make sense on any level. They’re not as good overall, and play very different roles.

Parks is behind Timothy Tillman.....You realize we're doing deep mids/DM's and not 10's.
I'm referring to Tim not Malik as my post clearly indicates.
I may have left off Tessman/Busio but I'll include them when they get back to a 1st Division league.

    here
I don't think that's GGG's style. He sort of has to deal with Gio.

That, and the fact the US has quite a few young centerbacks entering their prime playing at high levels.... that's the direction he's choosing to go. As fans some of us will agree, and some of us will disagree.

Jonny Cardoso is a young Casimiro. Let’s see when he will move to Barcelona or Real Madrid.

well, after helping keep them up last season hoffenheim are 8-6-2 with him in the team vs 0-5-2 without this year. there seems to be some disconnect between you, kicker, advanced metrics and blowhard podcast guests saying hes been bad and that reality.

players who arent that good dont generally make their teams that measurably better.

Huh? Casimiro has 2 straight reds (both from last season) and 3 second yellows in his entire career--for club and country.
