Profile of Elexa Bahr of the Honduran U20s: http://www.gwinnettprepsports.com/s...cle_e93b939d-f4f4-507c-943e-44c2d4f8094a.html For [her father] Alex, who never got a cap with the national team, the experience of watching his daughter play for his country’s national team was an emotional one. “Wow. It’s a special moment for me because I’m from Honduras and I couldn’t wear that jersey,” he said. “She did it for me, practically. That’s amazing. That moment is going to be in our memories and heart. Tears came out. To see her trying to sing the national anthem, it’s amazing. That first game I didn’t expect that she was going to score two goals. That’s unbelievable. That’s an amazing experience. I can’t imagine the way she felt.” Bahr’s international future is undecided at the moment. While open to a return to playing for Honduras, she still has her sights set on working her way on to the U.S. national team.
