    Very observant. I've managed this thread the same way that the YA Forum is managed. A Yank is a Yank, regardless of National Team.

    My interest is in the NT. Looked her up to find out more about her. Waste of my time. I guess thatโ€™s my problem.

    I think Chris Henderson is doing a cumulative running tally, which makes a bit more sense:

    Chris Henderson
    @chris_awk
    Finished up with Iceland on the Americans/Canadians abroad table.

    Up to:

    111 Americans
    39 Canadians

    From today:

    Chris Henderson
    @chris_awk

    Project update... Americans/Canadians Abroad In the middle of adding Liga MX players. A whole lot of them. Up to 133 Americans, 45 Canadians

    With that number, I'd say not, but he hasn't explained his methodology (at least that I can find).

    Lindsey Heaps & Demaris Egurrola started as well:

    Heaps had a secondary assist on the game winner for the 1st leg match:

    82' : CORVENTINAAAAAA !!!!!!

    Lindsey Heaps sets up Amel Majri, who then passes to Melchie Dumornay in the center. Our Haitian charges toward the goal and beats Zinsberger with a powerful shot.

    Yesterday Ajax lost to Twente 5-1 with Lily Yohannes starting and going 74 minutes. Really bad result as it leaves Ajax in third place, 4 points behind both Twente and PSV with only two games to go. Only the top two teams qualify for Champions League qualifiers, so Lily could miss the competition next season if she stays at Ajax.

    Chelsea playing Crystal Palace at Kingsmeadow at 2:15 pm EST. Both Macario and Girma starting, Fishel on bench; Katie Stengel and Yanez starting for Palace. Palace hopelessly in dead last and Chelsea in first by 3 points over Arsenal. Both teams playing their 19th game to catch-up with the rest of the league. Pretty mixed-strengthen line-up for Chelsea with Cuthbert, Ramirez, Walsh and Bronze on the bench and no Kaptein today. PS don't know status of Lauren James for Barcelona. Game is on ESPN+.

    Girma starts and gets pulled at halftime in the second leg of the champions league semis against Barca. Cat comes in at the 60 minute mark. Chelsea got destroyed 4-1, and it could have been worse than that.

    I'd imagine that Girma was probably taken off for fitness issues as nobody in the Chelsea defense covered themselves in glory, she certainly didn't stand out as the major problem. That said, Barca were up 3-0 at the end of the first half and Chelsea were getting barraged, particularly towards the end of the half.

    Cat had a couple of decent moments and maybe a couple of where she could have done better, but the reality is that Barca looks levels above Chelsea, who were never going to be competitive in this series.

    Slegers says it's the physicality of the WSL and I'd agree and also she was finding that difficulty as well her second season with Gotham. And her defense could improve also. Anyway at least she wasn't to blame for the poor performance against Aston Villa on Wed. The defense and in particular Kate McCabe fell asleep and leaked fives goals.

    The club has at least 5 American players in the starting lineup (Gibson,
    Natalie McNally, Katherine Sullivan, Kelly Brady & Hannah Waesch) with Erica Cunningham & Sarah Flannelly on the bench.
