But she's not just about protecting the goal:

She has a photo in her Instagram of being at a session of the Israeli WNT, but she isn't Jewish, so not likely to be eligible for the squad any time soon.

Casey Murphy signs with Montpellier in France:

The women record the arrival of the American guardian Casey Murphy . A reinforcement motivated by the back problems encountered by Laëtitia Philippe. Third American after striker Jessica Remmes and defender Genessee Daughetee wearing the pailladines colors, the former player of Scarlet Knights Rutgers will know in Montpellier his first experience in Europe.

Long-haired goalkeeper (1m85), 21, Casey Murphy competed in the U20 World Cup in 2016 with the US selection. " I am very happy to sign in Montpellier, to build with the coach and the players and to represent one of the best French teams. I watched the MHSC play several times on TV. I expect this experience to grow and flourish as a woman and as a player, " she said.

For his part President Laurent Nicollin is delighted with this signature: "We had to find a solution to have a No. 2 guardian. Casey was among the best young American guardians, if not the best.

Sounds like she is the 3rd Yank to ever play for the club.

Morgan Brian got her first start with Lyon and a goal in their 11-0 cup win against D2 Toulouse. OL rotated and gave a game to all the fringe players.

Going to Australia was a good decision for Sonnett. It isn't the toughest league in the world, but it allowed her to stay sharp and stay at the forefront of Ellis's mind while other center backs in the pool took the winter off.
