Former Orlando Pride midfielder Becky Edwards said the chance to return to Sweden and play in a league that better suits her style of play was too good an opportunity to turn down. Edwards was speaking to The Equalizer after making her first appearance for new club Kristianstads DFF in a pre-season friendly against Chelsea Ladies, six months after announcing her retirement from professional soccer. http://equalizersoccer.com/2017/03/15/becky-edwards-couldnt-say-no-to-sweden/

"...in a league that better suits her style of play...."? what exactly does that mean? she missed the game and couldn't stay away? she has a guaranteed starting spot?

Judging from comments from other Americans playing in Sweden, less speed, more brain and slightly less physical and more technical play. No one have a guaranteed starting spot but she shouldn't have a problem keeping a spot unless she become considerably worse since last time she was over here. And that here coach in Sweden think Becky is one of the best player she ever worked with probably make it a lot easier to keep a spot.

Meanwhile a major upgrade (downgrade? ) happened to this forum: I guess everyone is busy commenting that (or trying to adapt to that).
Still haven't seen any highlights. I know the game wasn't televised in France, but was hoping there'd be some way to watch the goals.
This new bigsoccer forum is so whitewashed, I'm not sure i like it. But, I guess that's what happens in Trump's Merica. When morgan doesn't score, the board blows up...so i found the silence peculiar. for the record. I believe Morgan is better than Le Summer time and has consistently outplayed her. But ABBA Herbergers is probably the best forward in the world right now.
Have you been reading this particular thread? There's almost no discussion about anything. It's mostly been about capturing movements and games played. There's not much history of USWNT players abroad, so it's not like everyone (ior anyone) comes here to talk about her club exploits. Maybe it's worthy of a separate thread to talk about her specific play overseas?
so this particular thread is the instagram of the bigsoccer forum. all image no content? it is "Yank women abroad" after all.
If you want to comment on this thread, knock yourself out. No one has commented much, so it seems odd to be disappointed there is no Alex Morgan chatter. I simply view the thread as a reference point, but you are welcome to talk all about the games and other on-topic matters.
Wait, are you the only person who posts on this thread? Where does one go to discuss "Yanks Abroad". the Lyon thread?
