Hello, to other Reading fans. Many US supporters of Reading here, due to Misters Hahnemann and Convey. Not to jinx Royals chances, so I'll say "IF" they make EPL next year, what do they need to do to strengthen their side ? Where will the $ be spent ?

The key to staying up, in my opinion, is having a hardworking and effective midfield. I feel you can get by with relative weaknesses in attack and defence but not midfield. So I think if they can sign Lampard and Gerrard Reading will stay up with ease.
Saw 'em tonight against my lads. Obviously I'm biased, but the Rams were the better side. What Reading have is the confidence that a long unbeaten run gives you. ie. you keep trying because you're sure you're going to score. They need a dominant centre-half to play with Sonko, Seth Johnson in midfield 'but don't tell anyone I said so' and a striker. Ashton? Trundel? Jason Roberts?
