I'm sorry if this is a topic that has been previously discussed, but it is something I've pondered from time to time. Could a Yanks Abroad TV, YATV, work?? It would basically be a channel that followed various Yanks playing in various clubs/leagues around the world. Especially Yanks who we are interested in, but play in leagues not readily available here in the States (for instance AGF Aarhus). Obviously the big costs would be getting this channel on air, if you so chose, or as a internet only channel, and the rights from the various clubs. Could it be viable? I believe there is enough of a cult following of YA's and USMNT fans who are interested in Yanks who don't play in high-profile leagues that are televised here (EPL, Bundesliga). Just an idea to discuss if anyone is interested.
I don't know if they could get their own channel, they could definitely doing from their own website, but maybe they could partner up with ESPN or FSC for a weekly show.
