Hey everybody, I've been lurking around these boards for a few weeks now but this is my first actual post.

Any who, what is the status on Yanagisawa's injury? I remember hearing he was getting an MRI on the knee he injured in the A3 game against Jubilo, but have yet to hear the results. Anyone here know?

    Welcome to BigSoccer.

Luckily for Yanagisawa, there was no ligament tear, but the bruised left MCL and ankle sprain will keep him out for at least a month, and he is not expected to be back to full fitness for two months.

It could have been worse, but he will most likely miss the USA mini-tour.

    Thanks for the info, skip.

I suppose that rules him out of the Champions' League, but I guess it's better than missing practically the whole season. Knee ligament tears are horribly gruesome and dibilitating, and I wouldn't wish one upon my most hated rival. I'm not really an Antler's fan (or a detractor for that matter) but I wish him a speedy and thorough recovery.

    Has Chievo signed him yet?
