Just listening to a phone in while having my dinner. First up a United fan blaming the FA because Chelsea had more rest and the media of being biased in favour of Frank because he is English. I just had a little chuckle
I have seen plenty of games where they just purr how good City or pool have been and what a classy side they are. But yes they do have to keep the neutral engaged
Where did that performance come from! Mount was fantastic! James good too, in fact all of em! Listen that's the first time Utd have lost in 19 games, they ARE the form team and they we're second best from minute 1 to minute 110! We completely dominated, could have been more! Had to let in the customary goal still though! I reckon that's our best performance this season. How could it have been so different to the Sheff Utd performance in such a short space of time? Young players I guess. If we can perform like that next season with the talent coming in we could do well :-D
Mount with Pulisic. So I guess Willian gets dropped? This was a great game, but beating Wolves and the scousers would be better. More important.
Pulisic for Jorg. Play Kova at DM. Pul + OG + Willian. Mount + RLC + Kova. Dave + Zouma + Rudi + James/Alonso ...would be my preference. Would rather have Timori if he’s available.
will be same lineup against liverpool you can't play those three in midfield against liverpool they'll get destroyed.
Did they not say same thing about the Man U lineup ? I doubt they will sit Pulisic against Liverpool.
Yeah but we played a different formation against United. Alonso and James both had good games because they were playing as wing backs.
Took the daughter to the park just before halftime, so missed the first two goals Got back around minute 60, and I have to say, 2-0 was no more than we deserved! What a fantastic performance, especially against a team that has dominated us this season. Really wonder what Ole was thinking, changing up his plan with his team on such a heater. I understand having to rotate some of the players, but mixing up the whole system was a weird move. I'll take it though!
Also, it's worth pointing out that last time we unexpectedly switched to a 3-at-the-back system and got a great result (against Spurs) we stuck with it in the following game when it didn't make sense and got smashed by Southampton on boxing day. Different this time around since I think it could work well for us again against the scum on Wednesday, but we shall see. My trust in Frank to make the right call is growing
