Does anyone know if yahoo platinum is going to be showing the playoff games? I just signed up, and don't know much about it. Thanks.
I am anxiously waiting to find out also. My plan is to wait until thursday or friday, and if the playoff games don't appear on the yahoo platinum schedule, I will cancel my membership.
This might be a little off topic, but here's my rant about Yahoo Platinium: I subscribe to the service cause I go to college in Boston and want to watch Metro games. First game I try to watch live (i think against Dallas) it tells that I can't watch games in the same television market as the game. It was retarded because I put my address as Boston, but i guess my billing address was for New York. I emailed them and got a standardized email saying I couldn't watch games live in the same TV market. Bastards.
That stinks. I know what you're feeling though. I wanted to watch DC games while in college, but I live about 400 miles away from the closest MLS city.
playoff games should be on YP. If you haven't signed up yet, sign up on the FIRST DAY playoff games are broadcast on YP. That way, your two weeks free (or paid month) will end later. Less games missed that way.
IIRC: YP usu. shows games that are on regional cable networks. MLSNet isn't updated with TV schedule yet but soccertv.com shows games this weekend on FSN-NE/ MSG (same game) and FSW (2 games). Ergo, it's reasonable to say that YP will show those same games.
