Does anyone know email addresses that US fans can use to contact US players overseas? I would guess that the contact would most likely be through the club, but any contact info will be welcome.

In particular, I am looking for an email contact for Brad Friedel. (My 6-year-old son drew a picture for Friedel and wants me to email a JPEG. For a couple of reasons, I can't mail the original.) I looked at his club's website and came up empty. The club does not list an email address in the Contact Us section.

Since it seems likely that some of us might want to email encouragement, etc., to YAs, I decided to make the thread broader than Friedel's contact info. Still, I'd appreciate any help contacting Friedel or Blackburn by email.

This is really difficult. Most clubs hire a firm to build and maintain their websites. They get the necessary information for updates, but are independent of the club and therefore have no real contact to them. Some are different though, but I got no clue about Blackburn in particular

Did you try contacting the club directly? I got this address and phone number off their official website:

    Blackburn Rovers Football Club
    Ewood Park
    Blackburn
    Lancashire BB2 4JF
    UK (of course)

    Tel. (from US): +44 1254 698888

They could probably tell you how to send fanmail to players.

Another idea would be to try to find a fan forum and post something there.

...or go to Kinkos, make a color copy, and mail it to him c/o the club.

Maybe you could try going through the USSF.
