X has come back and is apparently healthy as he can be seen in pictures from camp yesterday.

Here's hoping that both he and Beckham are both healthy enough to make a difference this year. X seemed to decline from the get-go last year.

I'm sure this has been addressed in the past so forgive my ignorance, but has X agreed to play on turf or will he be out of those games for sure?

Can someone verify that X actually stated somewhere that he wouldn't play on turf? I'm thinking that might be one of those bigsoccer urban legends.

X did miss the games on turf late last season, but IIRC, he had injured his knee by that point and I thought having him skip the turf games was just a precaution so he could play out the season on his tweaked knee. But it didn't get better so he ended up missing the last couple games of the season.

In other words, with all the time he's had to recover and rehab, if his knee is 100%, I don't see why he would refuse to play of turf.

Unless someone has links to the quotes that I missed...

there is nothing backing up those alleged quotes. I agree that if he's healthy, he'll play.

    baX

I just heard the official news that Abel Xavier better known as "X" amongst Galaxy supporters is back.

on a related note: AEG and Home Depot Center concessions managers still puzzled by missing straws.
