Thought that was a soft yellow. Liked an earlier advantage she called. Should that have been a PK for the no-call when Ertz was fouled on the DFK?
Morgan is being targeted. Spain knows she's ineffective when she gets roughed up, but the referee is permitting it.
Wow. This ref has been skirting the line for a while. Nothing terrible that's she missed, but some of the easy calls (like PI for players hacking Morgan) she's failed to address. That leads directly to that last tackle on O'hara, which wasn't even a foul. That absolutely has to be a yellow, and the ref butchers it with nothing.
I absolutely did. Admittedly I'm streaming this on my computer and it's not a great stream, however, you knew a serious collision (not necessarily illegal) was coming, you could feel it when you saw the ball bounce between the two players. The Spanish player came with speed and had studs up, and finished through the other player.
Definitely a foul, albeit soft. I'd say this no matter what team was playing, but as a defender you have to know you can't just be sticking your foot out like that in the box. You're asking for trouble.
I'd get those Spanish players away from the mark if I were R. I know they're waiting for the check, but that is absolutely intimidation of the penalty taker. In what world is this a review? This is "obvious"? "Clear" Hogwash.
