I guess it makes sense. I didn't think she was great in that Sweden-Germany game, but at least France gets to be in the final
I she let three potential hard fouls go and then cautioned the fourth one. Not sure how much of a tone that is as much as "oh maybe I need to stop this".
I see the point but imo only one was actually a foul and she let the US play out with possession. The two she let go we’re upper body contact. (If I remember correctly). I like what she’s done so far. The yellow was a hard, late, challenge on the plant foot. I like what she’s done so far.
One of the ones she let go was low and from behind. I think she may have thought “the next late challengers a caution”. It just happened to be a little softer than the previous ones.
Like what Frappart is doing so far. Letting them play a little physical, but got the leg sweep caution right.
based on the precedent she had set it was inconsistent and unexpected. didn’t seem to be much contact. she also didnt seem decisive on giving it. the foul by ertz just after was worse.
