I've tickets to the Manchester United vs. Club America match when they play in Los Angeles. Im a fan of ManUtd and intend to wear my red jersey (even though i might get showered with kidney water). Any clever chants for me to sing that day?

Just shout "YoooNIted" three times. At some point in the game.

Spend the rest of the time staring vacantly ahead, or chatting with your mates, or making everyone in your row get up repeatedly so you can go to the toilet/buy a hot dog/wander over to where your other bunch of mates are sitting. Leave five minutes before the end, even if the game is a close one. If United are losing, leave 25 minutes before the end.

If the crowd at Old Trafford today was any indication, you could also try "¡Así, así, así Real Madrid!" ;)

suprisingly that "25 minutes before the end when they are losing" starts at about the 85'th min.....

At least at old trafford it does...

It's like that good old TV show the outer limits.
You know the one...where time and space are controlled by somebody else.

And make sure you don't dare stand during the match. The stewards will escort you out.

For the record how much are tickets for the United Americas match (might be worth the drive up to LA to become an honary Americas supporter for that one)

Don't hate on ManUtd, did you not see them play against Madrid today? They sucked a bit at first but they held their own and came up.
I got the so-so middle seats at $60 each.
(If your going to be an honorary fan of any Mexican team you go for Puebla not America)

    Bitter Scousers

Lots of bitterness from the LFC crowd, isn't there? Of course, I'd be bitter too if I backed a team that (i) hasn't won anything meaningful in years, (ii) has a frog for a manager, and (iii) plays a style of football that makes the Mexican league seem exciting!

    Arf ...

    "Bitter Scousers" is the Evertonians.

    Know your stuff. Then post.

And you've clearly never been to Old Trafford. Nothing in this thread is "bitterness". It's reportage.

    Just reportage also

Facts: 1. LFC hasn't won anything meaningful in years. 2. Frog manager. 3. Boring, failed style.

Opinion: Bitterness on behalf of LFC fans.

Fact: A "scouser" is anyone from Liverpool.

Fact: Never been to OT. Never been to Anfield, either (would like to visit both). TV only, but I can't seem to make it through a LFC game without falling asleep, so the great atmosphere at Anfield is lost on me.

    Conclusion: I'm right, you're wrong :)

    He's a new fan mate.
Probably doesn't have a clue how great the FA cup is.
I'll admit that it has lost quite a bit of it's gloss since the great Chelsea-Leeds final and replay in '70 --take that splargy :)

Or that Argie fellas goal ;)

Or countless other great moments in it's history.

Old Trafford is rather quiet. A Man U fan told me it was the loudest he'd ever heard it against Real and he's a fairly regular goer. I suppose not being allowed to stand up does limit one's want to sing. Another quiet ground is Highbury 'The Library'. When I went there it was full of muttering Arse fans complaining about their team. Not much chanting at all.

Maybe crowd noise is linked to success. The more goals you score the less noise the fans make in between celebrations, otherwise they'd go hoarse.

And on a different note, would someone in Enic please sack Hoddle, he's an oaf.
