Based on their obvious merits, the entire Charge starting lineup will be voted into the Hall of Fame immediately following the game. Melissa Moore will be given special recognition as the greatest goalkeeper in soccer history.

and finds true meaning in Heatherism. ;)

All kidding aside, I had a blast last year (despite the cold) when the Breakers played Washington. A core group of Crusaders made the trip and the Freedom won the game on the obligatory Ms. Hamm PK. :)

And for those that enjoy tipping the occasional bottle, plan a trip to the Ommegang Brewery near Cooperstown. Simply superb Belgian-style ales. About 20 minutes away.

    :D

IIRC, the Freedumb don't have the Founders Cup, either :p...so your season merely ended a week later than ours did, on a similar note ;-( You used up all your karma at Villanova; I guess the fates just didn't like Abby being positively Hooper-esque on us lol....

What game were you watching? Roseli put a PK away in the second half, called for a Boston handball in the box. Mia was out of the game at that point. So yeah we enjoyed the 3-1 win, at least as much as one can enjoy freezing ones @$$ off. Had much more fun in Foxboro the day before though watching the US Men qualify for Korea/Japan 2002 :D

Yeah, but we're not the one's who think our players are bigger than Jesus... :p

I had a little bit more fun watching being at the Korea-USA match, being treated to a classic ref job.

nsa would really appreciate the subtle ways a ref can determine a match, just call mysterious fouls one way, and then permit anything the other way

unless Collina is the ref, the traveling side plays against 12...unless the ref is so incompetent to blow home field edge!!

although I put Hunt on the list of top 10 refs on this planet.

yes, perhaps the lack of depth in this country causes me to over value her, but you saw Meier effectively determine an outcome...Korea will not lose was the edict...

Hunt lets the play speak for itself...

as for wusa, I think year 2 saw a progress from year 1...

My view is the more you do of anything, the more likely improvement will occur.

The higher the calibre of play refs get exposed to, the more likely they grow to effectively ref that quality.

And this is NOT anti-ref, they try there best, and each has their learning curve.
