Good god. Imagine how the family of the really dead kid is going to feel. And imagine, if the kid in the hospital is conscious enough to be aware of his surroundings at all, how confused he must be at the presence of all these people who aren't his family.
Is he burned beyond all recognition? Did they hold a spontaneous funeral service? I'm confused as to how it went this far?
The article said the injured kid had severe head and facial injuries. I'd imagine his head was wrapped up to the point that it was impossible to identify him by his face.
