3-1 Baros scores on a one on one after the keepers clearance came dirctly to TLT and he played him in.

4-1 Baros with a great one time ball from an even greater ball from Xabi. Alonso is simply class in a glass.

    TLT is Tony Le Tellec

4-3 Raven and Jese-me have contrived to give two goals away. We'll have to do better against TNS!!!

    No more O'Douls for you!

    :)

Stig is listening to BBC Merseyside online (skiffle, oldies and such), with periodic updates from Wrexham. "Liverpool are coasting". Off now to continue packing for the big move.

    Enjoy,
    Stig

FT 4-3. We need to get help at the back. Warnock and Raven and Whitbread and Joseme are not adequate cover. I don't know why Djimmy nor Medjani wer not played. Our fullbacks were toasted twice and HoseMe was out of position both times. But still both Baros and Moro played well as did Garcia and TLT. Alonso continues to amaze. Lets get another forst class back -- Millito LFC calling.

Can anybody who was watching the match give any feedback on Zenden's performance? Seemed quiet, from what I can tell.

I know it is only one game but I always felt that we needed some defensive reinforcements. Besides Carra and Hyypia there just isn't any quality in our full backs.

I would like to see Carl Medjani given a run of games. Considering that we beat out Arsenal, Man U and Bayern for his signature he obviously has potential. Rafa is great at giving people chances and I hope this guy gets his turn.

I still think that either Upson or Milito will arrive by the end of the summer.

Isnt traore a CB?couldnt he play as a center back aswell?Hes no class act,but he could be a good cover for hyypia and carragher if things get bad at the back, but i would still like to see another CB goining the club!Upson or milito would be great.

I caught the tail end of the first half and the halftime discussion, and Hunter and his color man were both raving about Zenden. Said he and Moro were the highlights of the first half. Hunter said it was especially impressive considering he was out on the flank (left, I believe) and he'd played in the middle all of last year.

So judging by what they said, it was a good debut. Maybe someone who actually saw the match instead of me and my intermittently crappy feed can expound further.
