hey- i was there, at kezar stadium this afternoon for the semi-finals. i got to the storm-new england game towards the end of the 2nd half, and i believe the final score was 3-1, not sure of the goal scorers etc. i mainly went to the games to see the ajax play, since one of my fave canucks, isabelle harvey was with them. unfortunately, her team lost 3-1 to the utah spiders, as utah scored 3 first half goals before isa scored one in the 2nd half. the ajax were unlucky to miss two goals as it was *this* close. to tomorrow's finals are between the CA storm and the utah spiders... spoke to isa for a bit after the game, and she said that the ajax were missing at leat 5 starters for various reasons...it was a really cold, breezy day (FOG!!!!), and even my canadian butt was freezing. lol elaine

finals wow! what an upset! the utah spiders defeated the CA storm yesterday in the 90th minute... http://www.wpsl.info/results/03_13.html#04 http://www.socceramerica.com/article.asp?Art_ID=562133594 and to think that utah was the wildcard entry and only made it to the "final four" when the denver diamonds could not. congrats to utah! first time the WPSL crown is held by a team not in CA. elaine
