I listen to a sports talk show most nights "Sports Overnite America" which is on the Sports Byline network. I heard a promo tonight for "The biggest soccer event this year" (world cup? US advertisers are so cute sometimes) and apparently they are broadcasting the game from "pre-game analysis to trophy presentation." The network has over 500 affiliates so we know there is over 500 stations that have the option of picking up the game whic is good to hear. Not sure how many stations will actually do that because most affiliates are probably like mine, just play the two main talk shows to fill nightly programming from about 10-4AM. While it's not ESPN Radio, Sporting News Radio, or Fox Sports Radio, it's at least something. I wonder if MLS charged them for it or if they were just handing it out to whoever wanted it. I'm curious to see if anyone will actually get the broadcast. By the way, listen at www.Sportsbyline.com
