Thought that I'd get the thread started. Looks like Brown, Giggs, Scholes and of course Forlan will miss the match through injury. We do have two extra days of rest compared to Liverpool. While it's a crap trophy, it's always nice to beat the Scousers.

Is Fox Sports World showing this match on tape delay at all? I know that it's on PPV on Dish and DirecTV (at least I think so), but not on indemand for digital cable subscribers (which, unfortunately includes me).

You should be excited this is your only chance at a trophy in 2 years, with an attitude like that you deserve another year with no trophies

You're kidding, right? This is just another fixture that bogs down our schedule and diminishes our players health. Luckily we can rest more guys in the last two games of the CL before the q-finals. Only reason why this even perks my interest is it's another chance to beat up on the scouse bastards. United, unlike Liverpool, still are very alive in the CL and in the Premiership. This is might turn out to be our best chance at silverware this year, but it is by far our only.

Go back to your own forum. Sorry that you're jealous that we are still doing well, and you are crap this year. Tell your team to fix their problems rather than coming here and ripping on Man U. We're still alive for CL and the Premiership. How about you?

For those who know, especially from the other side of the pond, what really is the significance of the Worth-nothing Cup? I mean, it's nothing like winning the CL, or the Premiership, or even the FA Cup. So what's the significance?

No chance for Fabien--deflection was enough to leave him w/o a chance to get anything on it.

Great save by Dudek on Ruud in the 82 min. Dudek has been on fire all day.

Owen scored when he went in alone on Barthez after a mistake by Silvestre.

Becks has painted both corners of his own goal in the past two weeks with deflections.

United looked very casual this game with their simple passes, particualrly in their own end. They had very little flow this game.

Hey, I hear a band playing, maybe you can catch the wagon!

Scouse scum is scouse scum....... go get a new team if you fancy them so much! This loss sickens me - not as much as the one to City (gasps for air), but it forms a knot in my stomach and it should you too.

United were the better team, they had the run of play for most of the game, and they had chances galore to score. I can accept that, but to give credit to those lousey anfield wankers is going WAY too far!
