Manchester United has been drawn against current holders Blackburn. The games will be played on January 8th (at Old Trafford) and January 22nd (at Ewood Park) In the other match-up, Liverpool takes on Sheffield United. Could we be looking at a Man Utd - Liverpool final?
I just realized this ... DOH! Blackburn and Man Utd have a fixture this weekend! A preview of the Worthington Semi-Final Leg. These two teams will be meeting each other three times within a month. Should be interesting! Let's see if Brad is able to keep his promise. I still say: GLORY GLORY MAN UTD!
Sorry.. I thought I was in the UK Cups forum.. I didn't mean to be a flame or anything.. I know how sensitive Manchester United fans are. Anyway..It will be a great month and a half.. Things are looking a lot better in the back with the Red Devils since the younger legs are there.. I don't know what to expect.. Low scoring defensive duals more likely than a goal fest but I just don't know. I am looking foward to Sir Alex's excuses though! They never fail to entertain.
I'm working on them right now.. I have about seven ready but I'll do a couple more..Sir Alex's problem is he doesn't prepare his excuses in advance so they never sound very good but we thank him anyway. The tabloids surely do..
