I wasn't watching the game earlier cause was watching college football and "The Rainmaker." Just turned it on for background sound while on the internet. It was 5-0 SF. Now in the bottom of the 8th it is 6-5 Anaheim. Let's go Angels.

I thought the Giants had it wrapped up in the 7th.

    Ugh.

I've lost $$$ on the ND game today.
I've lost $$$ oin the Miami game as well.

One hell of a game though.

    are you kidding?

i stopped watching at 5-0 and have been watching the tape of the blackburn vs. arsenal match (hello brad friedel...you are the man!) but i might have to pause it and get back to the world series despite my hatred for spoiled baseball players...i just like the angels and the ralley monkey!

Damn - I don't give a turd about baseball, but that was a great game! High drama. And I loved watching Bonds step on his dillio.

Just say "World Series" or you'll sound like one of those pathetic Euro wannabes

    Ben,

You know it isn't REALLY a "World" Series ;)

And BTW Rich - I am KICKING myself for not taping the Arsenal-Blackburn match for safekeeping. Friedel was out of his freaking skull all game. And according to SoccerNet, Brad played with a knee problem ... this according to Souness.

"His (knee) cartilage popped out in the warm-up today," Souness told reporters. "He managed to sort it out and play on ... not for the first time he was excellent. We've known about Brad for a long time -- we think he's the best goalkeeper in the country. But he's going to have to have an operation now, whenever we can find the right time."

As I have heard before ... Land covers 1/3 of the earth, the other 2/3rds covered by Friedel :D
