I have done group 1 and 8 now. But I also need to do some research, and I have some friends visiting over Easter so won't have that much time in the coming two days. I'll definitely finish scoring everything by next weekend though.

Folks, just keep in mind, the judges are volunteering to do this, so I think giving them as much time as they think is reasonable is the way to go. It took us a long time to finish the draft - we can wait a bit more.

I like the way Ewerthon partners with Diego Milito, since Crespo is a better version of Milito i thought they could work well together

Saviola is Crespo´s best partner for the Argentine NT, and this is despite him playing alongside Tevez a few times.

Which means what? You win? Just relax and wait for the results.

argentina should just stick to 5-3-2. sorin and zanetti are best suited in that formation as wingbacks. also it will allow the argies to play crespo+tevez as strikers with saviola/aimar and riquelme coming from deeper positions.

    something like this;

    ---------------cavallero-------------
    ---------samuel-ayala-heinze--------
    zanetti--------------------------sorin
    --------------mascherano-----------
    -------saviola-----riquelme----------
    --------crespo---------tevez--------

I would just like to add Luca Toni is the best striker in the world. Can he be stopped. The answer is no.

Not exactly. I can instruct my Gatusso to step on and break his ankle while the refs are not looking. Even if they're looking he will make it look like an innocent little foul. hahaha.

I don't know, Lua-Lua had a pretty nice goal a couple weeks back, so I'll agree with J A P in thinking that he's the best.

Substitute Gonzalo Rodriguez or Milito for Samuel, Substitute Messi for Saviola, and you have THE TEAM. Except for the goalkeeper, but I don't want to get into that.

I have always been a big fan of Cruz (even though he is a Feyenoorder). I'd probably play him over Crespo.

i just hope lippi plays luca toni with a quicksilver strike partner---a younger montella type---but if lippi pairs someone like iaquinta with luca toni upfront he needs to be shot. i think totti behind the front two to create the magic. nb i dont mean gilardino as the strike partner as its been proven that toni and him dont work up front.

del piero should be on the bench if he makes the squad, which he most probably will because of lippi, because he has had his time.

Gila and Toni dont work?

I seem to remember those two scoring together in the last few games of playing with each other and if it is not one then it is the other getting the goals. I have no problem of those two starting upfront for Italia this summer. I just wish Gila would get his act together and start picking up some goals for Milan, if he ends the season with 20 (4 more goals) and i would be a happy man.

Heinze is hurt, and I would want to get Lucho onto the pitch.

i really think cassano+toni+totti as the attacking triumvirate would of been nice. too bad cassano went to real madrid to rot on the bench. as it is gilardino will most probably start in that group of three but i just wish there was someone else for italy with that breakaway speed upfront.
