Crosspost from the other thread: http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/worldcup/news/story?id=5325439 It's a great read about AOLA. Good on ya! *edit* And so I can get my plans worked out as far in advance as possible, we going to try another meetup at Union Station or just bust hump to Dillons as fast as possible?
Great article, wish I can be there for the next match. Join the Outlaws after reading about them in ESPN. March Loud and proud from Venice Beach.
Game result aside, Dillon's Pub was *PACKED* today with supporters and loud as hell. Pleasure seeing folks from the England match, and meting some new faces as well.
I just posted on another related AO thread. Basically, I have never watched any USA game that had some many people supporting our boys. Bad ass. The mosh pit was fun, too.
So how do i sign up with American Outlaws LA branch again? I was talking to one of the heads at Dillons, but I ended up getting a lil plastered...
Easiest way is to go to the main AO site and sign up, make sure to put "Los Angeles" for the City/Chapter. Or else wait till the next AOLA meeting, I suppose.
You can sign up one of two ways: 1) via our website you will find a link that will send you to the membership page (Join AO): http://la.theamericanoutlaws.com/ Follow the instructions and you should be ready to go in moments 2) face to face with us at our next viewing. While that may be over a month away, you will save yourself money on shipping. Speaking of our next viewing, we will be meeting for the USA vs Brazil friendly on August 10th at 5pm at Dillions. The info is on the link above as well. Lets have a good time and make this match feel like the final we didn't get to celebrate.
Hi, I'm an AO member from the Tampa chapter and will be in LA for the next year or so, off and on, working on a project. Is there any group event for watching the final on Sunday? If not, could anyone recommend a place to watch the match? I'm currently staying near LAX, but might move a bit south on Friday, maybe Manhattan/Redondo Beach areas. Thanks for the help! Shibb
Many members of AOLA will be meeting at the Montalban theatre near the corner of Hollywood and Vine. To rsvp, send an e-mail to: RSVP.NIKESPORTSWEAR@NIKE.COM, and include the date and match you wish to attend.
There's really too many choices. Here's just a few on your side of town: Hennessey's Tavern, Hermosa Beach Cock N Bull, S. Monica Ye Olde King's Head, S. Monica My personal fave: Alpine Village, Torrance
