World Cup Ticketing Part VI

Surprise!!! A ticket from Fifa confirming that I bought tickets on the 15th of April.

Like many others I paid in Zar because they did'nt let my choose "country of residence". All tickets are in my name, no guests....
Now I just hope that Fifa are able to sell my 4 Cat1 tickets for the same game....

 

ahh.. you went for cheaper tickets for the same game when you had the expensive ones..
dicey, but you should end up selling the previously bought ones.

 

Question for fans that already picked their tix in South Africa machines:
As any of you picked tickets with a (meanwhile) cancelled credit card?
If you experienced this situation (or may try it soon), please let me know.

If you living in SA could ask this on a ticketing centre, it would help me.

Does this mean my final tickets are confirmed? Others who bought final tickets using u-know-what received the same email?

 

I just put
4 x Match 54 (CAT 1)
2 x Match 59 (CAT 3)
to resell.

 

Need 59 one, but no sure where to get it. Not available

 

There are obsence number of tickets available for Match 57! It's a Quarter Final!!! How is FIFA planning to ensure no-empty seats I have no idea. Even the R16 tickets that became available yesterday seem to be too many for last minute phase!

I am whining partially cuz I have put two cat 2 tickets for 57 for resale! I don't think FIFA will ever be able to sell them!

 

I guess the May 1st release of Cape Town tickets didn't come true.

Does any what's happening with Cape Town?

If so many tickets are bring returned, why won't FIFA release them?

I just want to know when this will happen so i can stop looking at the blerrie website everyday!

I pray can pick up 2* Match 59 tickets for cape town. Already booked my flights and hotel...have checked the fifa website about 30 times a day but nothing so far...

Surely they will release CT tickets sooner rather than later.

 

In 2006 there would have been an absolute frenzy now!
Tickets were generally very scarce and as soon as they became available they went.
The forums were alive with constant updates.
There are so many matches available and not really much going on, on here!
Its going to be quite a let down if the stadiums aren't full.

Yes, I just managed to pick up 2 Cat2 tickets for match 60.
And this time it only took Fifa 10 min to send out my ticket confirmation letter....

The weird part is that i already have ticket for another game (match 59) on the same day... Anyone else with tickets to two different games on the same day?
I know it's against the rules.., but my friend is going to have my CT tickets, but do I dare to keep them in my name...?

 

I did the same; couldn't resist buying awesome midfield seats for games 50 and 52...even though I already have a USA TST-7. I'll either have an extra pair of tix if we go through in 1st place or don't go thru, or I will have to make a decision between a R of 16 US game or a killer Mexico vs. Argentina game.

 

Personally, I would never go against the rules, we have so much invested already, I wouldnt take a chance on losing everything.
Having said that, with the way fifa is handling online ticket sales and the trouble they are having selling out, I really doubt that they'll cancell your application and give you a refund.
