So far there are 13 players injured in the national pool:

I didn't count Neuer because I think his injury is minor and will be back anytime

    DF:

Marcell Jansen (back in training, should be able to play end of April. Possible for the game VS Wolfsburg but they may not take the risk. Maybe VS Augsburg)

Marcel Schmelzer (individual training, he claimed he can play as early as the game VS Mainz)

Benedikt Hoewedes (started training yesterday, should be able to play next matchday or latest in Early May

    Holger Badstuber (out indefinitely)

    Dennis Aogo (out indefinitely)

    MF:

    Ilkay Guendogan (out indefinitely)

Sven Bender (predicted to be back in Early/Mid May)

Sami Khedira (back in training, should be able to play in end of April)

Sidney Sam (recovered, should be able to play anytime)

Oezil (Wenger said Oezil may be able to play this weekend VS hull)
    CFs:

Miroslav Klose (Out till mid May)

Mario Gomez (Out till late April/early May)

Pierre Laosgga (Out till mid May, will miss the remaining season, but if HSV have relegation playoff, he'll be able to play)

Thats actually seriously hectic - but at least most of these players would have anyway only been substitutes. There are a few exceptions... But they say you need about 15-16 top players to win a world cup and cause of all these injuries our squad might be a little thin ... too thin to win the big trophy. Especially the following players are really missed.
    Bender
    Khedira
Gomez (would have been happy with an inform Gomez as a super sub )
Gundogan - really just an awesome variant or option to our other players.

However looks like we will only miss Gundogan and possibly bender from the above 4

Sven Bender a major loss? Prefer Gundogan to be there

Well as a sub .. in case of suspension and or injuries...
Yes Gundogan when he is form could have been a starter - he is a big loss.

Strange thing is all out fullbacks n strikers are injured

Lasogga has only played 19 games this season, but I really want him to be included ahead of Klose

Slight chance oh gundogan coming back , if Loew will take him however is another thing. Zorc from BVB says he could be ready for WC. Mhhh Bild says this however would be nothing short of a miracle ...

The Netherlands will be missing one of their most important midfielder, Strootman for the world cup and is out until October. Another of their young midfield talents, Van Ginkel has just recently returned from also a long knee injury. Van Persie has also notably struggled with various injuries all season.

For Italy, Giuseppe Rossi was on pace to have a career best campaign until he suffered another injury. El Shaarawy has been out for almost the entire season.

England's Theo Walcott & Jay Rodriguez both suffered season ending injuries.

Belgium's Benteke is ruled out of the WC with a ruptured achilles tendon and out until October.

Majority of Spain's core players have been healthy but one of their top rising talents, Jese tore his ACL and is out until September.

Ah true, Thiago as well. Yes he's Spanish. Victor Valdes also tore his ACL. Jordi Alba been injured as well.

Others include Portugal top prospect Bruma out until July. And Colombia's Falcao still highly uncertain to recover in time for the WC.

Edit: Also just read Neymar is injured and will be out for next 4 weeks.

I think Thiago will be back in time for the WC. The most recent reports from Pep are that he may feature in the BL match against Stuttgart.

Lars Bender and Schweinsteiger have both picked up injuries on the last matchday

This will make our central midfield very shorthanded

    Guendogan, Schweini, Sven Bender, Lars Bender, Khedira are all unfit/injurred;

Lahm and Goetze have also missed the last matchday.

Klose looked very rusty in the Lazio-Inter game; Durm was benched for the 90min VS Hertha Berlin

Things are not looking good at all

Do we know how bad the last-matchday injuries to Schweini, Lars Bender, etc., are? Will they miss the WC?

Neuer will probably miss a few games for World Cup, according to staff, it will be a "miracle" if he can play before World Cup

Lahm is still not with the team and Schweini hasn't joined group training yet.

    This is insane
