I hadn't heard this before today, but is it true that FIFA have instructed federations to make sure that their kits are just one colour for the World Cup? Supposedly this is to help with visibility on television, although quite why it would help that I've no idea.

England will be playing in all white instead of with blue shorts (as they did in 2010 actually).
Germany will also be in all white
    Italy in all blue
    Spain in all read
    USA in all white
    Japan in all blue
Argentina still have their stripes but will have white shorts instead of the usual black.

Thankfully Brazil have told FIFA to do one, and will still play in their iconic colours, as will France.

I just think this is a real shame. Why can't teams where a mix of colours if they want? Why can't FIFA stop bl00dy messing? It won't affect the football of course, but things just won't look right. What could have been a vibrant colourful tournament will look a little bland.

Maybe I'm being picky, but this just spoils it a little for me.

    Link to a source?
Why would France be exempted? (Platini?)
What color shorts would Croatia wear?
And others like Australia, Cameroon, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay... doesn't quite make sense.

Does not matter as long as your team does and and hopefully advances,

You'r right it doesn't make sense, but that doesn't mean that FIFA aren't asking for it. It clearly isn't a "rule" as such but does seem to be a request.

Argentina will have blue and white stripes but then white shorts and socks, so are predominantly white.
Croatia are predominantly white anyway since they wear white shorts and socks to go with their check shirts so I imagine they will remain the same.
I'm not sure what Australia, Uruguay, Costa Rica et al are planning but there are certainly several teams who have reverted to a single colour that wouldn't normally do so.

I just can't imagine Germany in all white, so iconic is their white and black but here it is...

Spain also will be in all red instead of dark blue shorts and socks...

Netherlands will be in orange and white (home kit). So it seems FIFA's request has been ignored by the KNVB.

The away kit will apparently be a gradient blue shirt with shorts in an as yet unknown (to me at least) colour. Possibly orange.

Edit: it seems the away shorts & socks will be a darker blue.

Australia will be in Yellow and Green and many other teams as well will still have different shirt/shorts.

Fifa only mandates one predominately light kit and one predominately dark kit.

It is the manufacturers and the FA's ruining Portugal, Germany, Argentina, and Spain's iconic colours.

Well, yesterday Netherlands played in all orange. Perhaps because the French wore white shorts...

Yes, that all orange was pretty hard on the eyes, especially when they huddled. I had to look away.

I quite liked the new french jersey, although I only saw the highlights I didn't even pick up on the all orange thing.

Spain does look a bit odd with the red shorts. The red and blue is so classic Spain; seems like a bizarre FIFA rule..

The Mexican away one though wow.... shocker.

I wish they'd just stay traditional. I get they need to sell jerseys but...you also don't have to sell out the whole identity of your country.

Latest World Cup soccer jerseys, most of the released. I still love the Spanish football shirt. Here is the first published. I also ordered http://www.tshirtinuk.com/ . After getting the hand, found really good. Still as always style.

Does anyone know where I can get an authentic World Cup jersey with the World Cup patch on it?

They aren't official i.e. copies, fakes or whatever you want to call them.

They will be of poor quality.

They even claim to have 'leaked' kits for next season lol.
