I don't know if this is the appropriate place for this, but I'll be in Bangkok for the opening US game and was wondering where others in Bangkok might be watching the game. I'm worried about finding it live since it will be on at 5 in the morning here.
Normally I'd say most of the bars in Soi Cowboy (NOT the creepy Patpong ping pong show places) would have it on regardless of the time, as would the ex-pat places on Silom Road.....with the coup though I'm not sure. If nothing else I would bet the western-owned hotels will be showing it in their bars. Maybe call around?
Another place to check out or ask around would be Khao San Road, tons of tourists around this area. I remember some places would stay open pretty much all day/night but it's been a few years since I last visited. I'm pretty positive you'll find something out there. Good luck!
