FIFA announced that the World Cup draw is going to be on May 24. The draw is going to be held after a match between the Chinese NT and a World all-star team. Of course, May 24 is a WUSA match day. It'll be interesting to see who's going to be on this Rest of the World XI.
That's my point. Hopefully, FIFA won't feel the need to add WUSA players to the World XI for a meaningless exhibition game. It'll probably be no big deal, but you never know with bureaucrats.
The World All-Star team will likely be the same deal as in 1999 - one player from each qualified country plus three from non-qualified countries. Send Reddick or O Reilly as the US Rep - but somehow I'm guessing they'll insist on Mia and Freedom will get screwed again...
