Jogo Aberto is shown at times on SBT just as Globo Esporte is shown on Sport TV, but you’re right, jogo aberto is an original Band program hosted by Renata Fan.
    Fun show.

No you’re right, Jogo Aberto is a Band original program been on for years. Hosted by Renata Fan and her side kick, the great Denilson.

Could have won in 10 and 18.
06 and 14 we had no business going through.

Still haunted by 2010. I think we beat Spain with that team bc of the lethal counter attacking, although I guess who knows if Elano would've been healthy in time.

Both 2010 and 2018, losing a key volante proved to be our downfall. Ramires and then Casemiro.

2010 is the big missed opportunity in my opinion as well.

2018 is the best argument for giving coaches more than one World Cup. The best thing CBF did was keep Tite. The experience the coaching staff have now could make the difference. It doesn't guarantee anything, but it is a plus we've never had before. (We've had repeated coaches before but never the same one for the whole second cycle).

Of course for that to work you have to have a long-term option from the outset and Parreira and Felipão were never that and Dunga was too abrasive, by the end, to earn that opportunity.

In 2006 Roberto Carlos's momentary mistake of not marking henry cost us the match. Moreover we used to tremble at the very name of France back then.

I think since so many players are playing in Europe there is not much of difference between Brazilian players and European players. Their styles are also the same. We are not the same force anymore which we used to be before. And the gap is reducing with every year

As a neutral observer I have Brazil entering the World Cup among the four five favourites.
I ranked them first in my grade list which doesn't translate to that I think they'll win it all but they have a very good chance this time.

In my book we look at an all-Lusophone final betwen Brazil and Portugal. It looks to me a strong possibility. In that match up I would favour Portugal. We'll see what Qatar 2022 holds in the stock for the "Seleçao".

For those interested you can check out my entire grade list here:

I guess you haven't watched them lately. They look strong to me.

If Cristiano Ronaldo starts, Portugal will not progress much in the tournament.

I did..... But so did they the years before.... And apart from the euro win they didn't get much out of the team they supposed to.
