With the World Cup a mere 24 hours away, I figured we needed a place for discussion which was limited to United (yes, even Ruud;) ). Any other threads can serve as general chatter, fantasy leagues, transfer bollocks, etc., but please keep this thread "generally" free from all of the above.

If I've left anyone out, please add them :

    England-Rooney, Rio, Gary
    Argentina-Heinze
    Serbia & Montenegro-Vidic
    Netherlands-Ruud, Van der Sar
    Portugal-Ronaldo
    USA-Howard
    France-Saha, Silvestre
    Korea Republic-Park

Good luck to all the lads...:)

I hope that dirty drpgba for once manages to do something constructive and wipe the smile of the argies faces. I am with Ivory coast for this comming world cupl Cheering on drogba as he dives all over the pitch would be a change. It will actually show me what chelsea and chelsea fans see in him.

i am looking forward to seeing ronaldo rvn most.

For one thing, he's on a very tight leash with Scolari. Another - I don't think Portugal will make it very far in the tournament. It's not that he'll play bad, it's just that I don't think he'll be one of the players of the tournament, unlike their Ronaldo who seems to be in a good shape going into WC.

I say we use this thread to also spot United-type players in this World Cup. We can safely say the likes of Ribery and Tevez can be classified as United type.

My bad man I don't hate him but I just don't like divers who aren't Dutch. Robben (and Batman, corny joke) and Ruud make diving fun if fact because of them I dive a lot when I play one on one soccer with my imaginary friend. Yeah I'm sad.

Since I couldn't care less about Englands world cup I'm really hoping that Lamps and or Terry pick up a serious knock ruining the plastic gloryhunting rentboy ********************s hopes for next season...

I'd be open to this, but definitely with a rather tight leash on it. Only players that are serious Utd targets, so this doesn't turn into an "Onyewu is awesome, he'd be great at Utd" thread. Anything else can go in the general thread or in transfer rumors threads.

I chatted with Achtung before I started this thread, and I'd like to keep this predominantly about tracking our lads in Germany, but obviously threads take their own shape and I'm cool with however the Mods want to handle things, I expect it'll be busy around here for the next few weeks...:)

Won't help. If it happens prior to the window closing, Roman'll just open the checkbook.
