They also went the little bitch route of "Overly aggressive starting something" to "But now I go down like a victim"

Especially annoying since red cards do carry over from friendlies to the World Cup.

Rafa Leao with a straight red card.....Well looks like we might not be seeing him at all if it's deemed violent conduct, definitely out of the squad for the first match

Double funny when he's been talking about wanting a move to the prem and has now taken himself out of any chance of placing himself in the shop window....

Chile can do nothing but start fights. But Leao needs to smarten up and not get carried away.

Our crossing is horrendous. On the ground we have gotten into the box and created chances so maybe stick to that instead of passing to their goalie or out to no one.

I think I stand corrected - Only a Qualifier would have carried over.
Friendly just means he's suspended for next friendly

    Great shot by Bruno 2-0

Look at that two goals when playing the ball on the ground. Who would have thought?

Hell of a finish from Bruno, well outside and curling away from the keeper into the side netting.

Really sloppy after the 85th minute. You'd think with all the possession they would have closed out the game without conceding.

Not too bothered about these friendlies, but a clean sheet would have been nice.

Bruno is also in incredible form. Indisputably Portugal's star man.

Honestly a miracle nobody got injured on both sides. Also a miracle Portugal only scored 2 goals. How many direct chances did we have? Post hit as well. Chilean GK probably had the best game of his entire career and will never experience that again.

Bruno looked solid, Neto, Guedes as well. Guedes shocked me with his finishing on that goal. Why don't we give him a shot at striker at least for the next friendly v Nigeria and maybe v Uzbekistan.. Ronaldo was in form today for the short amount he played and that back heal no look pass was chefs kiss. But I do agree with the lot here I don't think he should be playing the full 90 for EVERY game. He is not 25 anymore.. I am all for taking him off in scenarios where it's 60'th minute and he hasn't scored or performed. Pull him.. Throw Guedes in there..

Yeah nice shot…. Would have liked to seen Rui make a better read and get a break on the ball even though it would prob still go in….

Yup Ronaldo either need pays the first 60 or the last 30 please and thanks

I dunno why people were so quick to shit on Guedes. Dude during his peak time at Valencia was considered the best in-form player at one point in La Liga, when Messi and Ronaldo were playing. Great season at Real Sociedade too.

I am guilty.. I completely questioned his call up especially after the nightmare game he had vs Mexico.. Wow that was tough to watch.. Looks like he shook off the rust and might actually be a nice lil weapon for our front 3 in the World Cup.

Apparently you can still possibly be suspended for competitive games if it was for violent conduct. So we'll see.
