Yes I'd like to get all 3 tonight and not have to be going against the Turks needing all 3. I believe they will rise to the occasion if it's important to the USA but if not they will most likely roll over.

  9. Don't discount the Turks. Their midfield & wingers can compete with anyone. Not so great elsewhere, but sprinkled with quality.

Idk, Mexico may have dominated RSA, but the 2020 Fire could've won that one. Doesn't sound like El Tri had much inem, but I think they at least make the knockouts.

Yeah, but then "padding his stats" by scoring a penalty would not count.

1-0 Swiss on a fortunate penalty.

Pete (isn't sure he has any rooting interest in this match)

I think some joker in the crowd brought a whistle.

Pete (keeps hearing whistles that aren't from the referee)

Oh it would count for the game score, but not as much for his qualitative performance as a field of play goal would!:ninja:
But in this instance it’s NEITHER :ROFLMAO:

No, Shaqiri had the self respect and self awareness to retire from the international game on his own terms. Something way too few "great" players do.

He clearly would have made this Swiss team and likely started. He close to step away.

Not a difficult decision after the Chicago Fire funded his retirement account...

Pete (hopes someone overpays him extravagantly too when he ought to retire)

Yall! Retiring from a National team is not done by a ‘star player’ that could still earn a starting position

Especially one that likes himself as much as he does:p

Some people fall for it every single time.

Your inability to control yourself two years is endlessly funny.
