Portugal has had Ghana on the back foot a couple times the past couple minutes and just dawdled on the ball out on the wing until Ghana got all the way back on defense and no space was left.

The lack of urgency in attack is so predictable yet so frustrating.

I don't really agree with the folks that say Cristiano needs to stop starting but with those two chances he got, first one after the turn over and bad first touch and then with the head, seems to me he needs to put those away

 

That was easily the worst half I've watched so far.

Nothing but aimless passing backwards and sideways at a sleepwalking pace for 45 minutes. I've seen training sessions and friendlies with more intensity than this.
