Two observations… (obviously both are Poland related)

Australia were light years ahead of Poland in soccer terms against Argentina

I liked when the Polish ref was giving the business to an Argentine player late in the game

Yes, this is the case. Good point.

The problem is the disingenuousness of the poster.

A simple “I agree that FIFA should require the US government to give protection to its workers” would have sufficed. Instead what I get is heinous accusations of trolling.

They give you guys Sundays off at least, right?

One day of the week. Any day is fine.

(Most countries have two days off.)

OK, but interesting that you naturally defaulted to Sunday.

Most people I know do get one or two days off a week. Which day of the week is not universal, given that some people are Muslim, some people are Jewish or Seventh Day Adventist, some people are other Christian denominations and some people are practitioners or other religions or are atheist. I personally don't know anyone currently who works every day of the week (I did when I was younger for the record, given I had two jobs).

    Who are "they"?

I did not "accuse" you of trolling; you were trolling. I also explained why you were trolling.

By the way, if FIFA had done as you suggest (and we wish it would), Qatar would NEVER have received the World Cup, so again your disingenuousness shows

Deffo next time around keep the politics of the sport to a separate thread.
We’ve just seen the climax of a pretty good match and all we get here is Omar

I defaulted to Sunday because that’s the day workers in the U.K. got given off before they invented the two day weekend. I assume the US is similar.

I’m aware most Arab countries have Friday and Saturday as the weekend.

But your original post implies Americans don't get any time off from their jobs, which is simply not true. And I say this as someone who is highly critical of the US.

So true. But on the other hand, do you see now why most Argentines want to stick with De Paul, even in the bad times? He's now growing back into the beast that helped us win Copa America.
