Egg is mediocre but he’s a frickin tactical genius compared to Klinsmann. Dude is an egotistical fraud, and this bigoted BS only solidifies my opinion of him as the Donald Trump of coaching.

He didn’t just say Central American, he named Iran and other places and “their culture,” all of which happened to be nonwhite.

And yeah some of the smaller Central American teams are extra dirty, but the kind of gamesmanship he’s talking about is now a global phenomenon. Hell, in that clip you could see Welsh players embellishing fouls, and at the exact moment he talked about players jumping up from the bench the Welsh players were doing just that.

If he kept it to just one brown person I might agree. But he went Full German.

Agreed, Klinsi knows no tactics it was all his assistants and players. Gives the vaunted German coaching system a bad name.

The only really dirty play in the Wales Iran game was the Wales goalkeeper Schumachering an Iranian player (and initially only getting a yellow). I’m guessing it’s in their culture.

Maybe this should go in a
MSM failure thread but the Washington Post in their profiles of 10 playroom watch has Mbappè listed as Argentine. He’s wasted his time scoring for the wrong team.

Is Mexico the weakest soccer country, all things considered? A population of 130 million, soccer is by far the largest sport in the country, and this Mexican squad is about the level of a small-nation European team. Or maybe Canada.

If population is a factor then…Nigeria? 211 million people, and soccer is the most popular sport.

Enzo for sure, he’s won a starting role, and I don’t think he’ll give it up for years to come. Julian, maybe.

I think KM7 is the more likely and Richarlison a serious contender.
