Guest Workers do it all. Do the Qataris just sit around watching porn all day but ban it officially? They have to, right?

I only saw the 2nd half today, and they looked really good. The crossbar hurt.

That match will either be 0-0 or 5-4.

It was really bad in Argentina. As a kid going to the stadium I didn't understand fully the implications of what we were chanting, but to this day I still have those horrible chants stuck in my head, I don't think I will ever be able to get rid of them.

In recent years there's been some push-back, at least some reaction by the media and the public, which led to some disciplinary actions by AFA against the worst offenders, but this goes back to the 60s and 70s and it was mostly seen as harmless, the "rich folklore" from the "colorful fans".

How many times will we hear Landycakes talk about himself during this match?

    Me too.

I don't go to sporting events live much anymore. I spend my live event money on theatre. Oh, and I did finally see Midnight Oil. But live sports? Not so much.

As opposed to the one coming up, which will either be 0-0 or a lot to 0.

Good luck to the US. It's not that I don't want England to do well, but I do want the US to get good results against top teams.

As far as advancing to the next round, the game against Iran is much more important, but a good result against England will be great for boosting confidence before the knockout stages.

Plus the name alone is great.

One of the things I love about the World Cup is the names are so great.

Greatest all time soccer name is Sunday Oliseh. Enner Valencia (which my autocorrect changed to "Winner") is pretty close.

    That's pathetic.
If that's the best they can do, they should give it up.

Do like the "spice" jab, though.

So far we got the England that doesn't play up to its potential. But the US is helping it happen, playing a tactically smart game.

England is playing very cagey, which is probably smart. The US is mistake-prone, but on the other end can be creative and surprising in the attack.

I’m glad they’re not playing Foden, not sure why Sterling gets the nod over him.

The styles have seemingly flip-flopped at least for this game.
