Hey, if Walter Zenga could coach, literally NO ONE is unqualified.

Sad thing is you saw something ridiculous like that but in the back of your mind with this F'd up organization you thought "that's quite feasible"

If one disgruntled soccerdad can turn over a whole apple cart, nothing is off limits.

I swear, Gio Reyna wouldn't get another callup if I were the new manager. Ain't nobody got no responsibility to pacify Claudio. His brat ain't good enough to be the diff between an R16 loss and a QF loss anyway

JabberJaw & his UNC wife basically took Overbearing Soccer Parenting to the international level. Which would be shocking if you didn't know how incestuous the USSF is.

I actually looked him up. He's been employed alarmingly often. I'd only know about coaching Wolves in 2016, but he's had several other jobs through this century (which should tell us all we need to know).

Did y'all see that Claudio has done this sort of thing before?

Glad you’re not the coach, I don’t think a player (or the squad) should suffer for the sins of the parents. And Berhalter handled it pretty poorly in the first place.

And considering this brat just got two game winning goals after coming on as a sub for his club…he definitely has diff making potential.

. . . as a sub, which is the role that pissed them off in the first place. :)

I don't mean to counter your main point, I just find the context of his spree funny.

Well, if Claudio is making himself involved, I'd leave Gio off the team until he can show he makes the difference for his club team. Not being a supersub, but the guy his club team wins with or loses without.

I’m hoping with the busting up of the good ol’ boys’ club at USSF that it becomes less of an issue. If Claudio’s buddies hadn’t been the ones in positions of importance it’s likely none of this would’ve happened in the first place.

I think the Reynas might establish citizenship in a gulf state where Gio can be the star of the national team.

If this score holds, would this be the right place to make fun of Sounders fans?

The Fire scored the exact same number of goals in the FIFA Club World Cup as Seattle, but ended with a better goal differential. [emoji57]

The difference is we KNOW we suck.

That's why I'm not going to trash-talk him on this.

I mean, good God, IntheNet would be smart enough to to get someone laughed out of this forum. No one is going to rip on the Sounders for this

Especially when there are hundreds of other things to mke fun of Sounders Supporters about...
