Spain got SPANKED. Holland look good playing 3-4-3 and you could tell Casillas wasn't himself. IMHO, This is why Portugal need to attack Germany, throw them off their game.

FYI: Can't stand Holland. I will never forget.

imagine if we had a striker like RVP?

World Cup would almost be in the bag with Ronaldo and nani, our midfield, and our defense.

    ARGHHH

Pique spent too much time with Shakira last night, looked so offf

Come on, guys. As Portuguese, we need to store aside the sour grapes. When Spain beat us, they went onto become Champions. They are a Latin country and Iberian. I would never root for a Germanic country over them.

Holland are good, Van der Vaart getting injured was the best thing that happened to them, I wasn't expecting such a big score but Spain came in over confident, their defense was not organized and Diego Costa is a square peg in a circular hole.

Man, i think Chile may be the most porous team defensively in this entire tournament. Good thing they scored 3 goals today, because against Spain & Holland, they are going to be conceding like crazy and it's going to be comical.

Yup. their players seem to be the only ones who respect us and their coach said we were one of the faviourtes to win. I think when their team is out many of them like to see us do well. Luis Aragones (RIP) used to say he hoped for a Portugal-Spain final and always said we were a good side. meanwhile English, German, Dutch, never give us credit.

They are still not out yet. people are getting ahead of themselves. this could be the best thing to happen to Spain. they were exposed. They got a kick in the ass. Del Bosque can regroup his team and do what is needed to be done.

    Brasiu should worry.

I agree, they play nice football but they are a typical south american team and dont know how to play Defense. they also weak, at least a team like Uruguay compensates with serious balls.
Futebolistas da praia/ brincadeira... Netherlands will probably decimate them.

Spain before 2008 were only slightly better than us on the international team competitions having won Euro 1964 and the Olympics 1992, now add two more Euro's and a WC. We don't get credit any credit for their wins by once being part of Spain and being their neighbours and 'cousins'. Brazil, same story, it is their victories, what we have in common now is mostly the language.

Instead of chasing the spotlight of others we must arise from their shadows and create our own dynasty.

In real life it is common for us to get along and have fun with Brazilians/Spanish (until they think of invading again) but in football we must become the new Spain and start winning titles.

Netherlands are not that good, Spain was asking for the taking.

Seems to be a balanced team, unlike Chile.

    Greece WC Record

    W1 D 0 L6

Colombia looks good but it is against Greece basically playing at home. Japan/Ivory Coast is a step above.
