Well, she was cuter than the mascots at the men's World Cup this summer although there wasn't anything eye-catching with her. She looked too normal.

It looks like Princess Leah in a boy scout uniform and pose. Question, if we are trying to spread the women's soccer love over the world, why are we having it in China when it was there in '91? Seems like we could have come up with something different. On the other hand, this could mean the US gets it back next time or the time after next.
Canada is making a run for it in 2007. Uhhh for some odd reason I thought I read somewhere that if our neighbors to the north do decide to pursue the 2007 WWC, the US will back off. Something like that.
It's not that bad ... I kinda like it. It's certainly better than the WC2002 amoebas and the blue sperm thing from the 1996 Summer games.
