    Pretty weak MLS N&A thread.

    World Club rankings? really? Snore.....

That's bar room arguments, not any real constructive analysis.

    DC United are ranked 302nd.

CD Olimpia, the team which DC United comfortably eliminated from the CCC this year, is ranked 111th.

    Houston are ranked 320th.

Puntarenas, the team which Houston eliminated in the CCC this year, is ranked 117th.

That pretty much tells you all you need to know about relevance of these rankings. They make the FIFA rankings look accurate.

Lokomotiv Sofia are ranked 100th, and as a Bulgarian-American I can tell you that they are a team of comparable quality to MLS teams in the top half of the standings.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say is, these ratings are total, complete, utter, unadulterated shit.

and rbny is looking way better them dc and a little better then houston so these world standings dont mean anything till each team place each other in a worlds club clup like a world cup

that would be sweet 34 best club teams there would be qualifing and all that would be great for the future

I didnt think people would miss the time frame, its in the thread title

rankings based on results over an entire year, not a week or a month

Ummm...haven't we discussed IFFHS rankings on BigSoccer before? Look it up. They ranking system is completely not appropriate to ranking anything outside of Europe.
