Why is no one talking about the worlds? I know we're in the middle of the biggest world championships on the planet right now but basketball's World Championships is a little over a month away. What's everyone's take on them? Is the United States going to regain supremacy or are Argentina or Serbia going to maintain their insurgance on the sport? And which team will be a surprise? Japan as the home team or Brazil (fresh off being pissed off in their first sport) or China (though without Yao that will be tough) or Italy with their new NBA #1 draft pick or France or Germany going for the Argentinian double? Anyone?
We don't care. If they win, it'll go unnoticed because we should always win. And if we lose, we'll make fun of them for a day or two then go back to talking about basketball that people actually have an interest in.
