Gotta face it, only the Dome and Turner Field would be big enough, and they would cost a fortune.

    Has anyone heard...

are the Beat and GT still considering a shared, soccer specific stadium? GT is close to starting it's women's soccer team (course I've been hearing that for 12 years).

Haven't heard a word. If they built one, and it seated 20K or more, my bet is that the Beat would move from Herndon. I like Herndon, but its a wee bit hard to get to, and is unfortuantely part of the reason attendace is down.

Is it really that hard to get too?

I've heard that too but I figure it's a straight show down Northisde and a right turn at the GaWCC. Course I live right up 75 and the stadium is not right off the interstate.

I pray that the Beat doesn't get moved out to Dekalb. Since the A-league team left Adams field, I've only been out to DekalbMemStad once.

Yeah, you can go straight down Northside drive (it turns into Metropolitan Parkway). I always park in the gold lot at the dome and then just take the shuttle over to Herndon. It only takes about 5 minutes to get there and they keep the buses running for around an hour after the game ends.

Makes it easy and parking is only $6.
