We had a discussion in Bremen's club thread about 1 or 2 season's past and in short realized it is odd that not one of us here male or female has ever given much thought to a home for discussing Women's football in general. Isn't that crazy that none of us in all the time we spend here has ever done this. Boo-urns! Any news on how spectator numbers have developed since the WC? Weren't they last year in the 800-900 range? Mean to attend a Turbine Potsdam game some day. Only seen em play on TV (or the online DFB-TV broadcasts. They broadcast one Frauen-Bundesliga game per week).

Please visit us at Women's International and Women's Rivalry forums. The German national teams and the Women Bundesliga are a big deal there and well discussed. Don't forget to check out the U-17 WWC thread, as the German U-17 reached the semifinals last friday. I guess this season Wolfsburg have good shot at winning the championship (and maybe the Champions League). Frankfurt seem to be hopeless after already dropping 5 points against weak teams, at least they defeated Potsdam. Potsdam will be the main competitor of Wolfsburg, but I think they aren't as strong as last season. However usually they're quick to integrate new players into their team.
Lusankya, what's your opinion about the last clash between Frankfurt and Potsdam as a connoiseur of Women's Football?
I admit I am not angry at the referee to play the last minutes despite the accident. She just did what's written in the rules. On the other hands I despise the people who booed Bajramaj, when she actually suffered a cruciate ligament rupture. Schröder told the press that these last minute were a disgrace for women's football, but I don't think it's so bad besides obviously the injuries of the players. I also like the result, because it means the Bundesliga will be more exciting, but I still don't think Frankfurt will win anything unless they get much better in the near future.
Thanks Lu, no one is posting here much but I like to keep the links alive for anyone browsing, as you must have done. It's good to see that finally some good discussion is taking place on Bigsoccer and these new links are welcome. Thank-you!
Reviving this old thread in the hopes that it will get some replies I am looking to watch replays of entire matches of the Women's Bundesliga, because some days, the matches are played when it's the dead of the night where I live and I'm unable to watch the live stream on DFB. The entire matches aren't always uploaded on Youtube too, so I'm hoping that you guys might have some websites where I can watch replays of entire matches? Thanks in advance!
I don't know about whole matches, but highlights are available on the German FA site: Women Bundesliga: http://tv.dfb.de/page/allianz-frauen-bundesliga/310/1/#filter Women DFB cup: http://tv.dfb.de/page/dfb-pokal-der-frauen/316/1/#filter
