a propos of, well, possibly nothing... Bill Archer's article in today's front page works in a revisit of the issue of women superfans at the Euros. Now we're talking about women who are fans of men's soccer so that's not particularly on-topic here but I thought the context deserved a mention. A couple weeks ago someone (who I've blissfully forgotten) published an article saying how women being fans is cute up to a point but when - well, here's the quote Can only imagine what this guy thinks of women actually playing soccer. Or, horrors, women being a superfan of women playing soccer. Any rate it's a good excuse to link to a Bill Archer article that isn't a complete downer about FIFA corruption. And the pictures are charming. Nice to see Sweden represented so well. (and here in the Women's forum, Sweden always seems a propos)
